what else the girls wore

it's wedding wednessday!

we've covered the dresses i made for nora, etta, maya, and neela. so now the time has come to talk about their accessories.

lets start with the shoes. i told my sisters "sparkly or silver ballet flats" and they came through.

next up hair accessories. neela wore her signature pig tails, with ribbon of course. maya and etta both wore their hair half up and half down with accents of greenery (like aunt maggie).

a few months before the wedding i found two nice hair clips i had worn for abby's wedding 10 years ago. so i gave them to her daughters.

for their baskets i wanted something "woodsy", and came across some twigy baskets at michaels. however they only had one, and i was hesitant to buy it in case i couldn't find more. luckily my mother in law was able to find enough at a michaels near her.

with a little bit of ribbon they were perfect!

since it was a tad chilly after the ceremony nora and etta put on white leggings, while maya and neela put on tights and they each had a navy cardigan from primary.

these had the added advantage of matching aunt maggie's wrap!
