place settings & menus

another #weddingwednesday post!

when we last left off i had already put a lot of thought and into our table signs, table sign holders, and growing the centerpieces so now it was time for the place settings!

i just wanted something that was simple enough as to not distract from the centerpieces, but also look decorative enough to match the occasion, match with the rustic "woodsy" setting but still reflect my love of modern and clean aesthetics, all while working with a food truck wedding. is that so much to ask?

turns out it was, and i stressed over this.

linens & plates

I wanted a simple white backdrop with a pop of color from the green napkins and garlands, much this pin, so I went with white tablecloths, white square plates, and forest green napkins.

flatware

something about this pin with the gold flatware and dark background just spoke to me and i went with gold flatware

glassware & candles

i've always liked mercury glass and thought it would like with the green garlands. that was confirmed when i saw this pin

since people would be having their drinks from the bar and any glassware would be just for water, so i kept it simple with basic water carafes and stemless wine glasses.

menu

like everything else i wrote the menu in our signature font and printed it out on craft paper. then victor's brother sliced them the morning of the wedding using our paper cutter.
