well my sister loved it so much she requested a matching infinity scarf and when your pregnant sister asks you for a piece of fabric sewn together you do it.
here they are matching on a doughnut date a few days before neela was born.
a few months later neela got in on the action with a matching 2+2 top.
so one of my favorite gifts for new moms has become has become an infinity scarf for mom and a matching top for baby.
i whipped this set up for a friend who just had a daughter with fabric from my stash (bought on sale almost years ago at stonemountain & daughter).
per usual i used french seams on the sides of the 2 + 2 top.
and to attach the sleeves.
of course each piece gets a handmade label.
man putting up these pictures makes me realize how much I love the label cut without pinking sheers and stitched with that tight zig zag.
maybe i should do it that way from now on.
